Children aged below 16 years are not allowed to use the Oriental Spa Garden.

All room rates include daily unlimited access to the indoor and outdoor thermal circuit of the hotel spa (please check the hotel's website for the spa's current opening hours).

The rates for stays on a basic B&B or half-board basis on December 31st include a mandatory fee for the gala dinner held that evening. Similarly, for stays on a half-board basis on December 24th, the Christmas Eve Gala Dinner is mandatory. Starting at 18:30, sportswear and sports/beach footwear are not permitted in the bars and restaurants.

Dress Code in Restaurants: Long trousers are mandatory for gentlemen during dinner. Dress Code for the December 24th Gala Dinner: Jacket and tie are required. Dress Code for New Year's Eve on December 31st: Black tie is required.

A wonderful experience at the Hotel Botanica and Spa
The included breakfast buffet is ample for any activities planned. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and the grounds are perfect to relax and unwind while also being close enough to the town centre to walk around. The hotel is perfectly located that even with older parents, their free taxi to and from the town made the steep hill a non-issue.
While the stay itself was fantastic, I was saddened to read that as of 1st November 2025 they will charge a separate fee to use the Spa facilities. The 35 Euros per person per day. It is rather a lot when combined with the treatment costs although the Spa and facilities are great.

Wonderful
The gardens were lovely. Room was very well laid out. Small foyer, with bathroom off provided separation between corridor door & the bedroom area. Bath & separate shower. Balcony which overlooked the pool. Turn down service with a nightly truffle. Good choice at breakfast. Nice spa area. Loved the sculptured leaves in the foyer. Free parking available.
Didn't try the restaurants - a little on the expensive side & had to be booked by the morning. A little way out of the town centre & a steep walk. Immediate, surrounding restaurants of distinctly average quality.

The hotel’s appearance with all the art pieces, The spa , the excellent breakfast with its variety and presentation . The Papagaio and Oriental restaurants are excellent .The hotel locarion . We would like to mention the kindness of Miss Pino ( Reception Manager ) She has amazing personality , she was the only person who could guide us with the exact information doe Carnival events and helped us with ticket’s Purchase The second person who was so special is Miss Karina the hostess of breakfast ans alao was in the Pappagaio restaurant .She was so warm and welcoming for all guests with a huge smile , joy and patience .She knew our namwa without even looking at the lists.Simply a pleasure to meet such an outstanding employee.
The mattress is uncomfortable . The walls between rooms are too thin and it makes it unpleasant to hear what’s happening on the other side most of the time we couldn't park in hotel’s parking lot because they allow other people not hotel guests to park there .

Wonderful
The spa is really nice.
The hotel is amazing in so many ways, but I think it falls a bit short when it comes to breakfast. It is good, but generic and plain. I would like to see something more creative, or something more local or Spanish, than just British - German inspired basics.
